Job summary

System One is seeking Electrical Designers (Level I–IV) in Mobile, AL to support design and construction of marine vessels. You will develop 2D/3D drawings, work with engineering and production teams, and grow into leadership roles overseeing projects and mentoring others.

The role emphasizes collaboration across internal teams and with external partners, with placement based on experience and design capabilities.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Associates Degree or higher in CAD preferred.
• 1+ year of 3D modeling experience.
• 1+ year of shipyard design/production experience or equivalent.
• Experience with high-speed aluminum vessels preferred.
• Experience with modular construction methods preferred.
• Experience in US Navy vessel design preferred.
• Strong communication and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop 2D and 3D drawings and models.
• Review drawings produced by CAD Drafters and Designer I-II.
• Coordinate with Production Management and cross-functional teams.
