Job summary

Arc is building a scalable electric platform for the marine industry and is seeking a summer intern in Electrical Engineering for 2027. The role is based at our Torrance, CA headquarters and offers a fast-moving startup environment with ownership expectations.

The internship runs June 14th–August 20th, 2027, focusing on design, prototyping, and collaboration across engineering teams. A strong eagerness to learn and hands-on approach are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or related field.
• Familiarity with electrical systems and basic vehicle wiring principles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a dynamic setting.
• Physical ability to work in production environment.

Responsibilities

• Support design and implementation of electrically integrated systems like wire harnesses, PDMs, and HV ESS systems.
• Build prototypes of new designs to support vehicle tests and related tests.
• Collaborate with other Engineering teams and interns to develop new solutions or improve existing ones.
• Maintain Electrical R&D space for efficient and effective operations.
