Job summary

Arc is seeking an Electrical Integration Engineering Intern to contribute to the electrification of marine propulsion. Based in Torrance, CA, the internship runs from June 14 to August 20, 2027, in a fast-paced startup environment.

You’ll support design and prototyping of electrically integrated systems, work with multiple engineering teams, and help maintain the R&D workspace. This role offers a base hourly pay, equity, bonuses, and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Familiarity with electrical systems and basic vehicle wiring principles (coursework or project experience counts).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a dynamic setting.
• Physical ability to work in production environment, including long periods of sitting or standing.

Responsibilities

• Supporting design and implementation of electrically integrated systems like wire harnesses, PDMs, and HV ESS systems.
• Building prototypes of new designs to support vehicle tests, standalone tests, and HIL tests.
• Collaborating with other Engineering teams and interns to develop new solutions or improve existing ones.
• Maintaining Electrical R&D space for efficient and effective operations.
