Job summary

Hydrasearch seeks a detail-oriented Drafter to join our engineering team in Stevensville, MD, creating and maintaining technical drawings and supporting production for marine product lines.

In a AS9100-certified environment, you will apply GD&T per ASME Y14.5, manage drawing revisions, and collaborate with design engineers to produce manufacturable documentation and BOMs. Veterans are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Drafting or Engineering Technology or equivalent CAD training/experience.
• 3+ years of drafting in a manufacturing/engineering environment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering sketches and specifications.
• Experience creating 2D and 3D drawings using professional CAD software.
• Familiarity with GD&T and drawing revisions within a PDM system.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed 2D and 3D part and assembly drawings.
• Collaborate with Design Engineers to develop manufacturing-ready documentation.
• Apply GD&T per ASME Y14.5 to ensure tolerances are met.
• Maintain drawing revisions, title blocks, and history.
• Support BOM creation and maintenance.
