Job summary

Harnish Group Inc. is seeking a Marine technician to diagnose and repair CAT equipment across multiple projects in Washington. You will remove, repair, assemble and install CAT machinery and coordinate with Parts to obtain components.

The role requires a High School diploma or Diesel tech degree, plus 8-hour stand tolerance, lifting up to 50 pounds, and a valid driver’s license. Competitive hourly wages and benefits are offered by a long‑standing, family‑owned company.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Degree in Diesel technology or equivalent hands-on experience required.
• Experience with CAT engines (Marine or Generator) preferred.
• Ability to stand for eight hours and lift up to 50 pounds; basic tool set and valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Removing, repairing, assembling and installing CAT equipment.
• Coordinating with Parts department to order necessary parts.
• Planning and organizing to assist controlling job costs.
