Responsibilities

• Designs major components or major portions of a functional system to develop or improve products and facilitate manufacturing operations.
• Develops data, layouts, sketches, and notes for design proposals; evaluates ease of manufacture, materials, and costs.
• Coordinates with other organizations; checks drawings for clarity, conformity to standards, and accuracy; identifies and recommends revisions.
