Job summary

Kokosing, Inc. is seeking a Crane Operator with Pile Driving experience for marine construction projects. The role requires traveling between Baltimore and Norfolk and working 12-hour shifts with an extended schedule.

Operates lattice boom and telescopic cranes, reads load charts, follows signals, and maintains safety. NCCCO or CIC with LBC is required; TLL is a plus. Four to ten years of related experience is expected.

Qualifications

• NCCCO (or CIC) with LBC designation required; TLL designation preferred.
• Four to ten years related experience; project type varies with assignment.
• Dredging experience a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Checks all fluids before starting engine.
• Levels crane using cab controls and leveling bubble.
• Observes load rigging and uses load chart to ensure safety.
• Operates crane within load chart parameters.
• Reads and follows standard hand signals during lifts.
• Controls crane movement and hoisting for safe operation.
• Maintains crane and hoisting mechanisms in good condition.
• Inspects crane for defects and reports issues immediately.
