Job summary

Coastal Marine Construction, LLC is seeking a Licensed Construction/Land Surveyor to support field surveying operations on marine and heavy civil projects. The role focuses on construction layout, verification, data collection, and as-built documentation in active environments, offering exposure to marine construction, pile driving, and large-scale infrastructure.

Ideal candidates have 1–5 years of experience, hands-on Topcon/Trimble equipment knowledge, and familiarity with AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of construction surveying experience, marine preferred.
• Experience with Topcon and/or Trimble survey equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
• Willingness to work long field hours in active construction environments.
• Strong communication and attention to detail.
• Able to work near water and in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Support daily field survey operations
• Perform construction layout, control, and verification
• Assist with setting pile locations, alignments, offsets, elevations
• Collect survey data with Topcon/Trimble and GPS
• Maintain field notes and survey documentation
• Support as-built survey data and records
• Coordinate with field crews and project management
• Assist AutoCAD drafting and basic data processing
• Participate in daily field coordination and safety planning
