Job summary

Summerset Marine Construction in Wisconsin seeks a hands-on Dock/Boat Lift Installer to join our team. You will install and remove piers, boat lifts, and accessories, supporting maintenance of marine structures along lakefront sites. This role involves physical labor outdoors in varying weather.

Requirements include a high school diploma and a valid driver's license; CDL A is a plus. Experience with carpentry and basic machinery is valued. Travel to job sites is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required; clean MVR.
• CDL A preferred; boating or marine experience advantageous.
• Ability to swim and comfortable working on or near water.
• Familiarity with hand tools, basic carpentry, and machinery.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the construction, maintenance, and dismantling of docks, piers, and marine structures.
• Load, unload, identify, and distribute materials and equipment for daily operations.
• Operate hand and power tools; maintain and store tools properly.
• Perform routine checks and maintenance on small boats; assist in barges operation.
• Follow safety procedures and wear personal flotation devices as required.
• Setup and removal of scaffolding and temporary structures at job sites.
• Clean sites and remove debris from barges and waterways.
• Collaborate with team to complete projects efficiently.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
