Job summary

Stewart Construction, LLC is seeking a hands-on Superintendent/Foreman (Concrete and Civil) to lead a crew on marine and industrial projects along the Mississippi River and at our Harvey, LA yard. The role combines crew management with technical expertise in concrete work, formwork, and site preparation.

The position requires seasoned supervision of concrete operations, blueprints interpretation, and coordination with engineers to ensure quality and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age.
• TWIC credential.
• Ability to enroll in DISA program.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Ability to travel to remote worksites regularly.
• Must pass a drug screen, background check and fitness test.
• Proven experience as a supervisor in concrete construction.
• Strong understanding of concrete properties, construction techniques, and finishing methods.
• Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans.
• Proficiency with concrete equipment, tools, and machinery.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the concrete crew on marine and industrial projects.
• Oversee all concrete operations: site prep, placement, finishing, curing, and inspection.
• Layout patterns, forms, and foundations per plans.
• Operate heavy equipment.
• Conduct land surveys to establish boundaries and measurements.
• Coordinate with engineers and project managers to solve onsite issues.
• Supervise daily operations and ensure work meets specifications and schedule.
• Maintain records of labor, materials, equipment use, and progress.
