Job summary

Kinder Morgan is seeking a terminal operator responsible for the safe, efficient unloading and loading of bulk and packaged commodities to and from marine vessels, railcars, trucks, and storage piles. The role emphasizes meeting supervisor expectations and adhering to published policies and procedures.

The position involves working in ship holds or at the dock, performing various terminal duties, and completing extensive safety and environmental training.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in all types of weather and follow safety rules.
• Strong teamwork, attention to detail, and adherence to work schedules.
• Willingness to work all shifts, including weekends and 12-hour shifts.
• Must be able to secure and maintain TWIC credential as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Secure cargo for discharge from ship and loading to truck/rail in ship’s hold or dock.
• May be assigned to general duties in all areas of terminal operations with required safety training.
• Maintain housekeeping and equipment/tools upkeep.
• Perform documentation of customer orders and cargo movements.
