Qualifications

• Proficient in marine-grade woodworking and joinery techniques.
• Skilled with exotic hardwoods, veneers, laminates, and composite materials.
• Experience constructing and installing cabinetry, bulkheads, doors, and custom furniture.
• Able to read and interpret detailed technical drawings and design specifications.

Responsibilities

• Fabrication: Construct and install custom interior components using exotic woods, veneers, laminates, and composites.
• Technical interpretation: Transfer dimensions to marine plywood and other materials; read blueprints and position parts.
• Detailing: High-quality finishing, sanding, staining, varnishing, polishing to meet standards.
• Product lines: Knowledge of joints (scarf, sill, splice, lap, finger, dovetail); use of epoxies and resins to bond parts.
• Other: Follow instructions; perform duties as assigned.
• Safety: Ensure work complies with marine safety standards and maintain a clean, safe work area.
