Hinckley Yachts in Topsham, ME is seeking a skilled Carpenter to build custom interior components for Hinckley boats. You will fabricate cabinetry, bulkheads, and furniture with careful attention to detail in a climate-controlled indoor shop.

Qualifications

• Proficient in marine-grade woodworking and joinery techniques.
• Skilled with exotic woods, veneers, laminates, and composites.
• Experience constructing cabinets, bulkheads, doors and custom furniture.
• Able to read and interpret detailed technical drawings and design specifications.
• Familiar with fitting joinery of irregular shapes and sizes.

Responsibilities

• Fabrication: Construct and install custom interior components using marine materials.
• Technical interpretation: Read blueprints and position parts accurately.
• Detailing: Sanding, staining, varnishing, and polishing to high standards.
• Product lines: Knowledge of joints such as scarf, dovetail, lap, and finger joints.
• Other: Follow instructions and maintain safety protocols.
