Job summary

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Analytical skills for debugging hardware/software integration.
Experience with algorithm development and state-machine logic.
Experience interfacing PLCs with sensors and CANBus communications.
GUI/HMI design experience and documentation with version control.
Proficiency in AutoCAD or SolidWorks Electrical for schematics.
Ability to evaluate hardware and power distribution requirements.

Responsibilities

Develop algorithms and state-machine logic per project requirements.
Interface PLCs with sensors, computers, and other PLCs via analog, digital, PWM, and CANBus.
Design GUI and HMI for operator control and monitoring.
Document software functions and manage deployments with version control.
Use AutoCAD or Solidworks Electrical to create electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
Evaluate project needs and select appropriate hardware; design power distribution networks.
