Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Analytical skills for debugging hardware/software integration.
  • Experience with algorithm development and state-machine logic.
  • Experience interfacing PLCs with sensors and CANBus communications.
  • GUI/HMI design experience and documentation with version control.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD or SolidWorks Electrical for schematics.
  • Ability to evaluate hardware and power distribution requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Develop algorithms and state-machine logic per project requirements.
  • Interface PLCs with sensors, computers, and other PLCs via analog, digital, PWM, and CANBus.
  • Design GUI and HMI for operator control and monitoring.
  • Document software functions and manage deployments with version control.
  • Use AutoCAD or Solidworks Electrical to create electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
  • Evaluate project needs and select appropriate hardware; design power distribution networks.
