Job description

The Ventura Port District, an equal opportunity employer, is seeking a proactive, responsible individual for the Marina Supervisor position. This supervisory role is essential in overseeing the Marina Department to the smooth operation of our commercial vessel marina and dry boat storage, requiring leadership, oversight of the marina facilities inspections, billing and collections, maintaining detailed logs, supervising fishery activities for safety and public access, and engaging with tenants to ensure compliance and provide outstanding service. We are looking for candidates who demonstrate ambition, initiative, and a commitment to both operational excellence and community engagement.

This exempt position is anticipated to generally work weekdays but periodically include weekend and/or evening hours and generally requires being on-call.

The monthly salary range is: $6,263 to $9,585 plus benefits. Placement within the range depends on experience, education, and training.
