Job summary

The Port of Everett is seeking a Marina Operations Coordinator to support the Marina Maintenance team by managing the work order system, prioritizing service requests, tracking maintenance, and coordinating with leadership on scheduling and documentation.

This full-time role provides administrative support, training, and process improvement, ensuring accurate records and efficient operations across port systems.

• Demonstrate expertise specific to their profession and maintain appropriate licensing/certification
• Intermediate level PC skills and the ability to utilize electronic communication systems
• Diplomacy to address sensitive issues—public and private

• Clear English reading, writing, and interpretation of complex documents

Responsibilities

• Administer the Port’s work order system for the Marina Operations team
• Ensure accuracy of work orders across cost centers, labor hours and inventory
• Analyze work order data to identify trends, inefficiencies and improvement opportunities
• Monitor equipment certifications
• Compile documentation on completed/closed work orders
• Coordinate with Seaport Operations Specialist on maintenance projects
• Prioritize and schedule work with Chiefs, Directors, Managers, Foremen and Leads
• Prepare and distribute work order performance reports to staff
• Serve as the primary contact for system issues, coordinating with IT or vendors
