Job summary

Safe Harbor Marinas in Islamorada, FL seeks a General Manager to oversee all marina operations, including docks, slips, and facility management. You will lead a team to deliver exceptional customer service and drive profitability while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires demonstrated leadership, strong budgeting skills, and the ability to coordinate across departments to meet company goals and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 5 years’ relevant experience with at least 2 years in supervisory role.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, Teams and Outlook.
• CMM certification preferred.
• Experience with budgets, salary administration, accounts payable/receivable and slip leasing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day marina operations and management.
• Provide excellent customer service to Members and teammates.
• Supervise and train all marina staff including onboarding activities.
• Oversee maintenance of buildings, facilities, docks, lifts, and equipment.
• Coordinate with Marketing to manage slip and service sales.
• Manage Member and guest relations and aim for high Net Promoter Score.
• Oversee fidelity of safety, esthetics, and compliance with standards.
• Support capital expenditure projects and HR staffing initiatives.
