Bellingham Marine in Dixon, CA is seeking a draftsman/administrative support for marina/dock construction projects. You will prepare clear, complete plans and 3D drawings from sketches and specifications, under engineer direction.

The role requires an AA degree and 3 years of related experience, with AutoCAD and SolidWorks skills, and a background check and drug screening as part of our Drug Free Workplace policy.

Qualifications

• Associates degree (A.A.) from a two-year college or technical school and 3 years related experience or training.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and 3D drafting using SolidWorks or AutoCAD Inventor; MS Word/Excel; Windows OS.
• Background check and pre-employment drug screen required.

Responsabilités

• Creates construction and fabrication drawings per company standards and engineer directions.
• Applies engineering practices, math, materials science to complete drawings.
• Prepares flotation calculations for each float module.
• Creates fabrication details to meet designed freeboard.
• Maintains paper and data files for historical project records.
• Liaises with departments and vendors to define needs and specifications.
