The Role

We are hiring a Lead Guide who wants to grow and do meaningful work. You will build close relationships with students and their families and help shape what learning looks like at our Maricopa campus, running your classroom day to day.

This role is not about years of teaching experience or a background in education — it's about being someone kids trust, who can take a general direction and run with it, and who communicates early when something isn't working rather than letting it become a bigger problem.

Specifically:

• You are genuinely passionate about working with kids — this matters more to us than prior classroom experience
• You can take loosely-defined direction (a "here's the goal" conversation, not a script) and independently figure out and execute the details yourself
• You communicate proactively — you flag issues or needs before they become urgent, not after something has already broken
• You can tell the difference between a real problem worth asking for help on and something you can just solve yourself
• You connect easily with students and families, and people tend to gravitate toward you
• You handle change without much friction, because things shift here and that is part of the job
• You are motivated by student growth, not just lesson delivery
