Job summary

The Orleans Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas is seeking a bartender to receive and prepare beverage orders, mix alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks according to standard recipes, and serve guests with friendly, attentive service.

Responsibilities include handling cash, maintaining accurate bank, keeping the bar area clean, stocking supplies, and greeting guests. Must be 21+, with strong communication and the ability to stand for long shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Previous bartender experience preferred.
• Must have excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Must be able to stand and walk for duration of shift.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.

Responsibilities

• Receive and prepare beverage orders from customers and cocktail servers.
• Mix alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.
• Serve beverages to guests according to service procedures.
• Operate cash register and complete transactions, maintaining accurate bank.
• Maintain cleanliness of bar area and equipment.
• Greet and communicate with guests in a friendly, courteous manner.
• Prepare written requisitions and orders for bar stock.
• Maintain and replenish ice supply.
