Job summary

Caesars New Orleans Casino & Hotel is seeking a friendly Bartender to provide excellent service at the bar. You will prepare and pour drinks, greet guests, and maintain a clean, well stocked station to ensure fast, accurate service.

This role requires 21+ and a certified bartender. Previous bartending and cash-handling experience are required. You will work a fast-paced shift, interact with guests professionally, and help create an outstanding casino experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous bartending experience required. Knowledge of operating cash register and bar equipment is required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age and must be a certified bartender.
• Mathematical ability including the ability to add and subtract. Able to stand and walk for up to 4 hours.
• Must have excellent customer service and communication skills. Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepares ordered drinks with proper portions and ingredients such as wine, liquor and related bar service to guests at assigned stations.
• Operates cash register, ringing the proper amount into the register and giving the guest or server the correct change.
• Provides a great experience for every guest every time through courteous interaction.
• Possesses complete knowledge and service of food/drinks, and as such, is responsible for guest satisfaction.
• Mixes drinks according to prescribed recipes; keeps station stocked with all liquor, glasses and accessories necessary.
• Acts as a role model to other employees and always presents oneself as a credit to Caesars and encourages others to do the same.
