Job summary

Ferris State University College of Arts, Sciences, and Education in Big Rapids, MI is seeking a Marching Band Student Assistant. The student employee will support rehearsals and performances, move instruments, equipment, and uniforms, and help with sheet music distribution.

Summary of Position: This position involves all aspects of supporting the Marching Band's activities with duties as assigned by lead faculty. This position requires moving instruments, equipment, uniforms and supplies up to 50 lbs. Student employee must be dependable, responsible, timely, flexible, thorough and accountable for your work. This is a fun, enjoyable and busy environment and we're looking for team members with these attributes to work with us. Previous band experience a plus.

Position Requirements: Ability to lift & move musical instruments, equipment & uniforms up to 50 lbs.
