Welocalize is seeking a Maps Visual Design Relevance Evaluator (English, US) for remote freelance work to assess map design quality and the user experience. You will evaluate aesthetics, readability and polish across digital maps, ensuring spatial accuracy and contextual relevance.

The role includes reviewing location recommendations and following project instructions, with the project running weekly and a pool-based onboarding process for eligible candidates.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Evaluate the aesthetic quality, readability, and overall polish of digital map designs.

• Follow strict project instructions and complete tasks accurately, including tagging specific issues (e.g., Icons not properly masked, Labels too small).

Requirements:

• To be located and have the right to work in the United States.
• An existing, actively used Gmail account with prior usage history on Google Maps.
• Participation is limited to maximum three project rounds. Please note that the task request will be dynamic and we will be providing you with a heads-up as soon as possible once there is a project round available for you.

PROJECT DETAILS

• Job Title: Maps Visual Design Relevance Evaluator - English (US)
• Contract type: Freelance
• Hourly rate: US$20.30
• Language: English (US)
• Location: Remote
• Estimated volume: 8 - 10 hours
• Start date: The project runs on a weekly basis. Eligible candidates will be added to a pool of certified raters and contacted at least 48 hours before kickoff.
