Job summary

Butternut Mountain Farm seeks experienced production employees for its Morrisville facility. Starting rate is $21.40 per hour. You will operate, set up, and maintain packaging equipment, monitor quality, and help adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing or production experience
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to work safely around production machinery
• Follow written procedures, quality requirements, and production instructions
• Manage multiple responsibilities and adjust to changing priorities
• Willingness and ability to learn new equipment, processes, and responsibilities
• Cross-train and help others learn
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long shifts

Responsibilities

• Operate, set up, clean, and support food production and packaging equipment
• Perform production tasks safely, accurately, and efficiently
• Monitor equipment, materials, product flow, and finished product quality
• Identify problems or inconsistencies and communicate them promptly
• Complete basic production records and computer/data-entry tasks
• Support syrup handling, barrel washing, packaging, and related operations
• Move between tasks as priorities change
• Cross-train on multiple processes and equipment
• Learn from experienced employees and help train others
• Participate in continuous improvement by identifying safer or more efficient ways
