Job summary

BAMSI is seeking a Residential Counselor - MAP in Randolph, MA to provide rehabilitative support to adults in Group Living Environments. You will teach ADLs, implement treatment plans, and supervise medications under clinician guidance while transporting residents and advocating for their needs.

Requirements include MAP certification or willingness to obtain within 3 months, a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and strong English communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• MAP certification required or willing to obtain within 3 months.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to assist with mobility.

Responsibilities

• Provide rehabilitative support to adults in Group Living Environments (GLE).
• Teach ADLs and socialization skills.
• Implement Treatment Plans and behavioral interventions under clinician guidance.
• Administer/supervise medications per MAP guidelines and document care.
• Transport residents to appointments and community activities.
• Advocate for residents’ needs and model healthy coping strategies.
• Maintain a safe, clean home environment and complete timely documentation.
