Job summary

Eightelevengroup is seeking a Principal MAOP Project Information Management Specialist to lead project information management, document control, and MAOP verification for large-scale infrastructure projects. The role ensures integrity, completeness, and quality of project records across lifecycle.

The ideal candidate has MAOP knowledge, strong EDMS proficiency (Procore, SharePoint, Excel), and a track record mentoring PIMS staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a relevant field.
• Extensive experience in project information management and document control for large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Document controller expertise focused on construction documentation (not field/site work).
• Experience in the natural gas sector or large facilities projects.
• Proficiency with Procore, SharePoint, and Excel.
• Strong MAOP knowledge and project information principles.
• Ability to lead and mentor project teams and junior staff.
• Excellent organizational, validation, and QA skills for project records.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• College-level reasoning skills via formal education or equivalent work experience.
• Proficiency with various computer applications and project information software.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of the Project Deliverable Management Plan.
• Enforce document control quality with stakeholders.
• Collect, organize, and validate project documentation.
• Track deficiencies and drive issue resolution.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to meet governance milestones.
• Monitor deliverables performance metrics.
• Maintain processes and tools to track status and reporting.
• Ensure turnover/close-out readiness of documentation.
• Mentor PIMS staff.
• Serve as technical SME in MAOP project information management.
