Job summary

The Chronicle Of Higher Education, Inc. is seeking an experienced professional to assist in the Manufacturing, Maintenance, and Welding programs. This role involves guiding equipment setup and usage while providing training to students on various types of machinery.

You will manage lab activities, ensure safety compliance, and work closely with faculty and industry partners. An Associate's Degree and relevant experience in a shop setting are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum Associates Degree in related field (Welding, Manufacturing, Maintenance, Automotive, etc.) preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a shop setting.
• Strong skills in Welding, Machining, and Basic Shop Math.

Responsibilities

• Provides guidance and expertise on machine installation, maintenance, and repair.
• Assists faculty in necessary training and demonstrations.
• Monitors students working within the MNT, Manufacturing and Welding classrooms and labs.
