Job summary

ECAM in Hanover, MD is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Assembler to refurbish and assemble mobile surveillance units, wire onboard electrical systems, and perform basic mechanical repairs.

The position also covers shipping/receiving and inventory controls, with a Monday–Friday schedule. Candidates should have a high school diploma, wiring skills, forklift experience, and strong safety awareness to contribute to a growing team.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Basic electrical wiring skills, working knowledge of wire types and sizes
• Inventory and equipment maintenance skills required.
• Experience in driving a forklift
• Dependable and reliable.
• Relative experience in warehouses, machine maintenance, or manufacturing is a plus.

• Wiring of onboard electrical systems. Low voltage, batteries, cameras and communications (Cat5/6 cabling).
• Basic mechanical repairs of trailers.
• Complies with all safety procedures and guidelines.
• Sort and place material or items on racks, shelves or bins according to organizational standards.
• Shipping and receiving, loading and unloading trucks and checking merchandise.
• Pick and ship orders as necessary
• Wear the proper safety equipment.
• Ability to adapt to everyday changes.
• Must be able to work on several projects / tasks simultaneously

Electro-Mechanical Assembler that will perform an array of functions that includes refurbishing, assembling, testing, and maintaining mobile surveillance units. Will also have warehouse duties such as shipping, receiving, and keeping inventory accurate.
