Job summary

Kerry is hiring for a Melrose Park Manufacturing Associate- Utility in Melrose Park, IL. This full-time, on-site role supports a union facility with a strong safety and teamwork culture. Responsibilities include operating equipment, ensuring MO accuracy, and maintaining records while adhering to Kerry safety and regulatory policies.

Required: HS diploma or GED and 1–3 years in manufacturing. Forklift experience and ability to lift 50 lbs are preferred. Kerry offers a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; 1–3 years in food manufacturing or other manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret safety instructions and MO specs.
• Must communicate in English and work in a team.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor equipment, start/stop, and changeover procedures.
• Verify screens on sifters and ensure product compliance.
• Set mixer according to MO specs and adjust as needed.
• Confirm MO ingredients and dump into designated areas.
• Record raw materials on MO accurately.
• Collaborate with other departments and work in a team.
• Utilize basic hand tools.
• Perform housekeeping and safety-related duties.
• Participate in safety programs and trainings.
• Follow Kerry safety and regulatory policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Maintain performance and punctuality.
