Job summary

BD is a global medical technology leader seeking an engineer to drive process capability, cost reduction and continuous improvement in its manufacturing unit. You will support capacity planning, document processes and ensure BD quality and safety standards are met.

Required: a Bachelor's in Engineering with mechanical preference; 2–3 years of manufacturing experience; strong problem-solving and teamwork skills to collaborate across shifts and functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering is required; mechanical discipline preferred.
• 2+ years medical manufacturing experience is preferred; 3+ years is a plus.
• Strong communication, teamwork and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Implement and sustain BD Excellence work processes for the unit.
• Identify critical equipment settings and create standards.
• Transfer technical knowledge to operators and technicians.
• Coach associates in continuous improvement methods.
• Address top losses, drive OEE improvements and lead change control.
