Job summary

Bayer AG seeks an Unit Lead to oversee manufacturing operations, optimize production schedules, and manage personnel while ensuring safety and budget adherence. You will mentor squads, promote innovation, and drive outcomes for customers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities include coordinating daily production, resolving disturbances, and maintaining quality standards. A high school diploma plus relevant experience is required; a BS is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience in manufacturing operations, technical support or safety.
• Ability to lead, manage conflict and negotiate with cross-functional teams.
• Leadership experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or agriculture industry.
• Basic computer skills (Internet, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Valid driver’s license for company car eligibility and MVR review.

Responsibilities

• Foster collaboration in autonomous squads.
• Support unit and squad to deliver value for customers and stakeholders.
• Drive innovation and rapid implementation of ideas.
• Coordinate daily production activities and schedules.
• Be escalation point for task prioritization and problem solving.
• Ensure unit compliance and monitor site P&L and resources.
