Mars, Incorporated and its Affiliates seeks an On-site Training Specialist to design, develop, administer, and facilitate comprehensive training for Associates in a manufacturing environment. The role emphasizes building world-class training materials, delivering programs, and evaluating effectiveness.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in manufacturing training, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to lead and co-lead training pillars.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 3+ years in a manufacturing environment
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Experience developing training materials and programs
• 3+ years of training experience in manufacturing
• Basic computer skills for developing/presenting materials
• Knowledge of Audio-Visual Equipment
• Strong written and oral communication

Responsibilities

• Support MSE activities on site
• Co-lead E&T pillar as Pillar Lead back up
• Own one of the Essential Element for the E&T Pillar
• Teach, Coach, and facilitate development of the Role Profiling process
• Lead development of training materials for the site
• Develop performance-based training programs
• Design, develop, implement, and evaluate functional training
• Deliver and assess Expert Trainer Program and monitor trainers
• Evaluate training effectiveness
• Coordinate and assist in site Training Plan execution
• Assist with audits related to training and knowledge assessment
• Support onboarding programs and 30-60-90 plan effectiveness
