Challenge Manufacturing is seeking a dynamic Classroom Trainer to lead orientations, deliver training, and validate employee competencies at our Holland, MI plant. You will conduct new hire sessions, teach safe operation, and document outcomes to support continuous learning in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Ideal candidates have 2 years of manufacturing experience and strong public speaking skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and LMS usage.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable public speaking, corporate training, or instructional facilitation experience.
• Two years manufacturing experience required; leadership experience preferred.
• Professional speech and attitude while communicating with different genders, cultures, religions, beliefs, and ethnicities.

Responsibilities

• Conducts New Hire Orientation for employees to prepare them to work safely, accurately, and to perform at rate while producing quality products for our customers.
• Deliver training in-person, virtually, or asynchronously with our computer-based training system.
• Teach learners the documented procedures for using technical equipment to ensure safe operation and compliance to Quality Management System.
• Evaluate, certify, and document employee’s ability to perform work required by competency frameworks.
• Proctor knowledge checks, skilled trades testing, and other validation tasks to verify knowledge.
• Responsible for data entry of training activity and outcomes to maintain accurate records.
• Provide KPI data to support weekly review of training needs and skill gaps.
