Job summary

You should bring 2+ years in manufacturing operations, 1+ year of JIT training, and strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a Manufacturing or operations/materials management role.
• 1+ years of experience in On-the-Job training using the JIT (Job Instruction Training) methodology.
• Strong organization skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Ability to collaborate cross functionally to complete initiatives.
• Strong verbal, listening, presentation and written communications skills.
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing concepts and in person training experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Assembly Skills training for manufacturing team members.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement ideas for the skills training center.
• Identify future skills training needs and develop new training courses for the skills training center.
• Maintain skills matrix and training records for team members.
• Coordinate on-the-job training for new process training (new hire or cross-training).
• Conduct training audits monthly.
• Work with production team to create and conduct on-the-floor lean trainings.
• Support Lean Training curriculum.
