Job summary

Bloom Energy in Newark, DE is seeking a Manufacturing Training Coordinator to join our team on-site four days a week. You will lead assembly skills training for manufacturing staff and partner with production to drive continuous improvement and cross-training initiatives.

The role requires 2+ years in manufacturing or operations, 1+ year of JIT training, and strong organizational and communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and lean principles is preferred as we scale secure,

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in manufacturing or operations/materials management.
• 1+ years of on-the-job training using the JIT (Job Instruction Training) methodology.
• Strong organization skills and ability to prioritize multiple projects.
• Collaborates cross-functionally to complete initiatives.
• Strong verbal, listening, presentation and written communications.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing concepts and in-person training experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Assembly Skills training for manufacturing team members.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement ideas for the skills training center.
• Identify future skills training needs and develop new training courses for skills training center.
• Maintain skills matrix and training records for team members (training document control).
• Work with the production team to develop cross-training plans for manufacturing team members and support additional skills training as needed.
• Coordinate on-the-job training for new process training (new hire or cross-training).
• Conduct training audits monthly.
• Work with production team to create and conduct on-the-floor lean trainings.
• Support Lean Training curriculum.
• Other duties as assigned.
