Job summary

Becton, Dickinson, and Company (BD) in the USA NY - Glens Falls is seeking a Manufacturing Training Lead to design, deliver, and continually improve manufacturing training programs. You will partner with Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, and CI to equip employees with skills for safe, compliant, and efficient work.

You will lead the Train-the-Trainer program, certify trainers, and drive workforce capability initiatives across manufacturing processes and product families.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in HR, business, education, organizational development, engineering technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years in a manufacturing environment.
• Minimum of 3 years in manufacturing training, workforce development, learning and development, operations support, quality systems, or related functions.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, implementation, and continuous improvement of manufacturing training programs aligned with production, quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Create engaging learning experiences through classroom instruction, hands-on training, visual work instructions, instructional videos, and other adult learning methodologies.
• Translate manufacturing specs, engineering drawings, work instructions, and SOPs into effective training materials.
• Develop and maintain a library of training materials with proper document control and version management.
• Partner with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, and Operations to reflect current processes and quality requirements in content.
• Establish training pathways for new hires, transfers, and cross-trained associates; support onboarding programs.
