Job summary

Becton, Dickinson, and Company (BD) is seeking a Shift Leader to guide manufacturing operations, drive continuous improvement, and ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. The role provides direct leadership to production teams, supports productivity targets, and partners with HR on talent development and engagement.

The position requires a Bachelor's in Engineering, 3+ years in regulated manufacturing, and strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of manufacturing experience in regulated environments.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience with Lean, continuous improvement, and problem solving.
• Knowledge of ERP and electronic quality systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate day-to-day production activities to achieve production schedules.
• Monitor manufacturing performance indicators including Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Productivity.
• Ensure staffing levels are aligned with operational requirements and maintain compliance.
• Drive attainment of production targets while maintaining product quality and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor line efficiencies, downtime, scrap, rework, and labor utilization.
