Job summary

Abbott in Plymouth, MN seeks a Trainer in the Structural Heart division to deliver on-the-job and classroom training in assembly and production. The role supports development and implementation of training programs and maintains records of progress and certification.

You will partner with Engineering to drive process improvements, ensure adherence to FDA and QMS requirements, and help trainees achieve high competency across multiple manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 4 years of related work experience.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional training and assessments for multiple assembly processes.
• Develop and administer training programs and modules in manufacturing.
• Schedule trainings and prepare classroom setups for attendees.
• Collaborate with Engineering to improve process yield.
• Conduct regular process audits and document findings.
• Update work instructions and training materials with ECOs.
