In-N-Out Burger's Lancaster, TX production facility seeks a full-time Meat Department Trainer to design, implement, and execute the plant training program. The role collaborates with production Associates to ensure competency in core tasks and regulatory compliance.

The trainer maintains training records, coordinates new-hire and refresher sessions, and conducts Train the Trainer sessions with Supervisors and staff on the floor and in classrooms.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–3 years experience as a trainer in a food manufacturing environment.
• 1–3 years experience delivering classroom and on-the-job training.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; LMS experience beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and execute the plant training program for Lancaster Meat Production.
• Work with production Associates to ensure competency and knowledge of processes.
• Maintain and update training records for compliance and qualifications.
• Coordinate new associate training and annual refresher courses; document learning in the LMS.
• Lead Train the Trainer sessions and support on the shop floor and in classroom settings.
• Maintain SOPs, forms, training aids, and records; address safety training questions with Risk/EHS.

We have an excellent opportunity for a full-time Meat Department Trainer based in our Lancaster, Texas production facility. The trainer reports to the Meat Department Plant Manager and is responsible for creation, implementation and execution of the plant training program. This individual works alongside production Associates to ensure they are fully competent in their role and increase their knowledge on plant processes. This includes maintaining and updating training records to ensure that Associates have met all company training requirements for company and regulatory compliance

General Responsibilities

• Ensures Associates are fully trained and works alongside those Associates until they are fully capable of performing their assigned positions.
• Coordinate and manage the new Associate training program, annual refresher training, including all details on core job tasks, schedule, coordination of materials and paperwork for practice assemblies, and documentation of learning as needed within the electronic learning management system.
• Provide final recommendation on Associate position proficiency or the need to provide further training. Coordinate refresher training classes as needed.
• Facilitate Train the Trainer sessions with Supervisors and assistants on the production floor and in classroom settings, using learning models and theory.
• Maintain standard operating procedures, forms, job training aids, and training records for all training sessions executed.
• Partner with Risk/EHS Management and outside vendors to address training questions that arise regarding safety issues. This may involve OSHA requirements.
• Perform other work-related job duties as required.
• Full-time position, (Exempt)
• Hours: 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; some overtime as needed
• 5 days per week, rotating schedule and alternating days off
• Weekend and holiday availability required
• Pay Range is $63,540 to $73,000/ Annually

The above represents the expected pay range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we will consider your experience and other job-related factors

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Experience as a trainer in a food manufacturing environment who has had broad responsibility for training; 1-3 years
• Expertise in delivering classroom and on the job training; 1-3 years
• Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced GMP environment.
• Clear communication and coaching skills. Written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience in LMS training systems
• Physical Demands/Requirements:
• Ability to lift a minimum of 70 lbs.
• Cold working conditions - Ability to withstand prolonged work assignments in cold temperatures
• Maintain constant mental focus and constantly be aware of surroundings
