Job summary

Lift Products is seeking Manufacturing Trainees at our Wisconsin facility. The role starts as General Laborer with a path to learn skilled work, including welding. You will be part of a safety-focused team with opportunities to advance your manufacturing skills.

Responsibilities include assembly, cutting to spec, and using common hand tools, with emphasis on accurate measurements and quality workmanship. On-site position with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn new tasks and adapt.
• Excellent attendance and reliability.
• Ability to accurately read a measuring tape and measure dimensions.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision and in a team.
• Committed to quality and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Perform repetitive bench or line assembly operations including packing or wrapping products, loading, unloading, storing, and transferring of parts or finished goods.
• Use hand tools (socket, pneumatic socket wrench, drill).
• Follow detailed instructions to complete tasks accurately.
• Cut material to specified measurements for stock material or custom work.
• Lay out, position, align, and fit components together (usually in fixtures).
• Regularly use MIG welding equipment from setup to welding various components of our products.
• May need to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. from ground to waist.
