Ducommun Incorporated in Joplin, MO, seeks an Engineering Technician to support manufacturing requirements and generate detailed work instructions and procedures. You will design tooling and fixtures and ensure proper handling of hazardous waste in the work area.

The role involves working with electronic and mechanical calibration, using test equipment, and ensuring production quality. CAD and MS Office proficiency are required, with emphasis on problem solving and teamwork.

Formación

• Intermediate to Advanced computer skills; ability to open programs and input data.
• Understanding of electrical safety.
• Ability to learn on the job training skills as it relates to various electronic test equipment.
• Comprehensive understanding of electronic theory and ability to interpret results.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and generate manufacturing work instructions and procedures.
• Provide engineering support to meet current and future manufacturing requirements.
• Design and develop tooling, fixtures and other manufacturing aids.
• Adhere to General Requirements of Team Members.
• Responsible for the proper handling and management of hazardous waste generated in their work area.
• Perform other assignments as required.
• Duties involve a broad spectrum of electronic and mechanical calibrations.
• Tests involve use of electronic test equipment and measurement of data to tolerance.
