Job summary

Teledyne Wireless, a Teledyne Microwave Solutions unit, seeks a Microwave Test Technician in Rancho Cordova to support aerospace, defense, and communications products. You will tune, test, and troubleshoot microwave components and assemblies, collaborating with engineers on new releases.

You should have hands-on electrical testing experience, familiarity with test gear, and a technical degree or equivalent military training.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical/electronic testing (required)
• Familiarity with test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and power meters (required)
• Solid understanding of Ohm’s law and basic electronics theory (required)
• Detail-oriented with strong communication skills (required)
• Technical associate degree or equivalent military training (required)
• RF and microwave experience (advantage)
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain D.O.D. security clearance (required)

Responsibilities

• Tune, align, troubleshoot, and test microwave components, subsystems, and assemblies
• Perform preliminary testing, pulse focusing, and environmental testing
• Assemble and disassemble tubes for test and repair returned TWTs
• Use advanced test equipment such as network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, power meters, and oscilloscopes
• Collaborate with engineers on new product releases and troubleshooting
• Maintain accurate test records and provide daily updates
• Ensure compliance with production schedules and quality standards

Salary Range:

$39,000.00-$52,000.000
