Job summary

Sanmina Corporation is seeking a Test Engineer to develop and implement testing methods ensuring product quality and performance before release. You will design test plans, scripts, and fixtures for manufacturing systems and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support new product introductions.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field and at least two years in software testing or QA, with strong analytical skills and experience in defect-tracking tools

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in software testing or related engineering role.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, program, maintain, and improve test solutions for manufacturing products and systems.
• Create and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Perform functional, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing as applicable.
• Troubleshoot test failures and analyze results to identify root causes and improvement opportunities.
• Evaluate test processes to improve efficiency, process capability, and throughput.
• Design and support test fixtures, equipment, and diagnostic programs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support manufacturing operations and new product introductions.
• Provide clear, accurate, and well-documented test reports and recommendations.
• Support daily product functional and system testing activities.
• Follow established procedures and engineering standards to maintain product quality and reliability.
