In this role, you will support the development and lifecycle management of complex manufacturing test systems by defining test strategies, maintaining control plans, and ensuring the installation, validation, and compliance of advanced test equipment to deliver reliable, high-quality product testing.
Serves as the primary owner of manufacturing test-related activities within PDLM subprojects, partnering with Product Industrialization Engineers to ensure effective coordination of test system requirements throughout product development and launch. Provides critical input on manufacturing test needs, helping bridge product design and production through robust, validated testing processes. Responsible for developing and maintaining test control plans and work instructions that support embedded quality standards and regulatory compliance. Ensures adherence to safety, environmental, legal, and company requirements while establishing reliable and repeatable manufacturing test processes. Oversees the installation, commissioning, and validation of complex test equipment, supporting manufacturing ramp-up activities and seamless transition to full-scale production. Ensures new test systems are integrated efficiently while maintaining high standards of product quality, reliability, and operational performance. Drives design changes and continuous improvements that enhance test coverage, functionality, and efficiency. Monitors test system performance after project handover, implement process and equipment enhancements, and resolve operational challenges to sustain long-term effectiveness. Provides the factory test perspective during project sign-off and closure, ensuring all testing requirements are addressed before final approval. Applies analytical problem-solving, lean manufacturing principles, and Capex optimization strategies to improve productivity, manage recurring test equipment investments, and support ongoing site-level test system procurement and deployment.
You’ve acquired minimal experience with a Bachelor's Degree OR minimum 4 years of experience with Vocational Education in areas such as manufacturing, engineering, industrial engineering, systems engineering, production or equivalent. Your skills include manufacturing principles, environmental health and safety, quality monitoring, equipment installations, product lifecycle management, process improvements, lean manufacturing, business acumen, cost optimization, design for manufacturability, regulatory compliance, CAPA methodologies, Lean Six Sigma, and Labview, preferred. You have a Bachelor's Degree, preferred, Vocational Education in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Sciences, Manufacturing Engineering, Manufacturing Process Optimization or equivalent. You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position. You have exposure to software writing, strong attention to detail and thorough follow through on projects.

The pay range for this position in Murrysville, PA is $69,000 to $111,000. The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity. In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.
