Manufacturing Technician Opportunity – Weapons Systems (Contract-to-Hire)
We're seeking a skilled Manufacturing Technician to join our team supporting critical defense systems. This hands-on role focuses on the detailed teardown, analysis, and reassembly of specialized equipment, ensuring mission readiness and quality standards.
Your Mission:
Perform complete teardown, cleaning, and reassembly of complex systems
Conduct detailed analytical assessments of components
Identify and request replacement parts as needed
Prepare components through bead blasting, deburring, and coating processes
Collaborate with planning and quality teams throughout the process
Maintain clear communication across operational groups
Required Skills & Experience:
• 2+ years in manufacturing environments (or equivalent education/experience)
• Proficiency with basic hand tools and mechanical systems
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Comfort working in hands-on, industrial environments
• Ability to work autonomously with attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with weapons systems or firearms
Background in component analysis/assessment
Knowledge of industrial cleaning/prep processes
