Responsibilities

• Measure, compare and perform shop calculations to ensure conformance with engineering or sales specs.
• Conduct material fit ups and layouts with steel.
• Position and secure workpieces using hand tools and forklifts.
• Inspect products/equipment for defects or malfunctions.
• Sand, grind, and break out steel.
• Assemble steel panels with bolt-together construction.
• Handle materials safely and with forklift as needed.
