Job summary

Flex, based in Buffalo Grove, IL, is hiring a Manufacturing Technician to support equipment setup, calibration, and process improvements within our manufacturing operations. You will work closely with engineering teams to test products, run experiments, and ensure quality standards are met while maintaining efficient production.

The role follows a Monday–Friday schedule with a late afternoon shift and requires independent work and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree preferred.
• 1-2 years of manufacturing/production experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions, procedures, and technical documents.
• Familiarity with quality inspection and testing methodologies.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support engineers with equipment setup, calibration, and process validation activities.
• Assist in manufacturing experiments, trials, and process improvement initiatives.
• Perform rework, inspection, and quality testing of parts and assemblies.
• Collect, analyze, and evaluate operational data using software and manufacturing systems.
• Make online adjustments to products, instruments, or equipment based on data analysis.
• Maintain accurate production, testing, and process documentation.
