Veeco, a leader in precision surface processing, is seeking a Manufacturing Technician in Horsham, PA. You will assemble complete semiconductor process tools, interpret drawings and schematics, and guide subassembly efforts. The role offers hands-on ownership and opportunities to mentor others in a growing team.

You will ensure quality and safety through detailed documentation and adherence to Veeco standards, while supporting power-up and handoff readiness for production.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; technical/trade education preferred.
• Minimum 2 years' hands-on experience building or assembling electro-mechanical systems.
• Availability to work 1st shift (7:30 AM – 4:00 PM) with overtime flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and integrate semiconductor process tools per engineering requirements.
• Interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and fluid diagrams for accuracy.
• Troubleshoot complex assembly issues with engineering collaboration.
• Lead subassembly efforts and coordinate tool builds; manage schedules and bottlenecks.
• Support and lead tool power‑up and ensure operational readiness before handoff.
• Document builds for traceability and quality assurance.
• Enforce safety compliance including lockout/tagout and plant protocols.
