Job summary

Eurofins USA PSS Insourcing Solutions is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Technician to operate and maintain advanced pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment in a highly regulated setting. You will support operations that convert raw materials into patient-ready products and ensure GMP-compliant documentation is completed accurately and on time.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of regulated manufacturing experience or a Bachelor's degree in a scientific/technical field, plus a mechanical aptitude

Qualifications

• 2+ years of manufacturing experience in a regulated GMP/ISO/medical device/pharma environment.
• Bachelor's degree in a scientific or technical field acceptable.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Operate, set up, and support advanced pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment and processes.
• Transform raw materials into intermediate and final patient-ready products.
• Generate and maintain GMP-compliant manufacturing documentation: batch records, logbooks, labels, check sheets, protocols, change controls, QTS records.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate, set up, and support advanced pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment and processes.
• Execute manufacturing operations that transform raw materials into intermediate and final patient-ready products.
• Generate, complete, and maintain GMP-compliant manufacturing documentation, including:
  • Batch records
  • Logbooks
  • Labels
  • Check sheets
  • Protocols
  • Change controls
  • Quality Tracking System (QTS) records
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of all production documentation.
• Perform equipment operation, routine maintenance, operator care, and basic troubleshooting activities.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and operational issues to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency.
• Support the operation and housekeeping of classified manufacturing environments.
• Collect, analyze, and report operational performance metrics.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives that enhance safety, productivity, quality, and compliance.
• Adhere to GMP, safety, quality, and regulatory requirements at all times.

Required

• High School Diploma or Associate's Degree with 2+ years of manufacturing experience in a regulated environment (GMP, ISO, medical device, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, food manufacturing, or similar)

OR

• Bachelor's Degree in a scientific or technical field.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve equipment-related issues.
• Valid driver's license.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, bend, reach, climb, and lift up to 55 pounds as needed.
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, respirators, protective suits, and facility uniforms.

Additional Information

• Position is full-time, working Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m.-5:00p.m overtime as needed
• Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Groton, CT are encouraged to apply.
