Eurofins USA PSS Insourcing Solutions is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to operate, troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize sophisticated pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment in a highly regulated environment. The role offers hands-on problem solving contributing to patient-ready products.

Full-time position in Groton, CT with an hourly wage range of $20-$24.50 and benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k).

Qualifications

• Two+ years of manufacturing experience in a regulated environment or a Bachelor's degree in a scientific/technical field.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Operate, set up, and support advanced pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment and processes.
• Generate, complete, and maintain GMP-compliant manufacturing documentation.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and operational issues to minimize downtime.
• Support operation and housekeeping of classified manufacturing environments.
• Collect, analyze, and report operational performance metrics.
• Adhere to GMP, safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate, set up, and support advanced pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment and processes.
• Execute manufacturing operations that transform raw materials into intermediate and final patient-ready products.
• Generate, complete, and maintain GMP-compliant manufacturing documentation, including:
  • Batch records
  • Logbooks
  • Labels
  • Check sheets
  • Protocols
  • Change controls
  • Quality Tracking System (QTS) records
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of all production documentation.
• Perform equipment operation, routine maintenance, operator care, and basic troubleshooting activities.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and operational issues to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency.
• Support the operation and housekeeping of classified manufacturing environments.
• Collect, analyze, and report operational performance metrics.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives that enhance safety, productivity, quality, and compliance.
• Adhere to GMP, safety, quality, and regulatory requirements at all times.

Required

• High School Diploma or Associate's Degree with 2+ years of manufacturing experience in a regulated environment (GMP, ISO, medical device, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, food manufacturing, or similar)

OR

Bachelor's Degree in a scientific or technical field.

Demonstrated mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve equipment-related issues.

Valid driver's license.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, bend, reach, climb, and lift up to 55 pounds as needed.
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, respirators, protective suits, and facility uniforms.
